It is never a good day to lose a comrade in arms. I see your pain on your face brother. One of my best friends passed on yesterday at noon. He was 11 year Marine and Vietnam vet. He, too, will be sorely missed. Praying for you and your bride and all the rest of SEAL Nation.

I'm so very sorry to hear about your loss. I think,,for us normal, everyday citizens, it's easy to lose focus on the sacrifices that so many people make to protect not only our freedom, but the freedom of humans everywhere. I'm going through a really, really rough patch (cancer's back, just not dealing well with life) but as soon as Don shared the news, I realized that, as bad as I feel and as tough as times are right now, there's a family somewhere that has just suffered in the worst way possible and I should count my blessings.
