Shit, turn around heading back I start scanning the opposite side of the road every bit I can. About 3 miles before the market I saw what looked like my phone. Turn around I just saw what looks like it . She's like seriously your crazy. TURN THE FUCK AROUND I say and low and behold there it is. She couldn't believe it. Obviously when you lose something you don't know when or where. I thought I may have put it on the roof of the car so I could lean over and load up. Guess I was right. Got lucky. The case got scratched but phone is fine. So stopped and brought a Lotto. The Cardinal understands lucky streaks.

I went into my odds and ends drawer for a rubber band and they were all dead and brittle So I asked the wife for a rubberband and she promtly opened a tin container that had a sandwhich bag full of rubberbands in it. I was puzzled. WHY. "Well ya big dummy, if ya don't keep them sealed and out of the light they get brittle" Some things are just learned the hard way.

So, a couple of weeks ago I said that I ran into some dude that I was sure was a phony. Lots of people said to take a pic. I am not interested in confronting these guys but here he was again walking around in the parking lot talking to bikers. As I walked passed him I said, I recognize that Trident and he suddenly looked concerned. He asked if I was a SEAL and I said no. And then his demeanor changed. The guy looked about 60 so I asked when he retired from the Navy. He said he was a SEAL from 2000 to 2012. Oh wow I said. When did you go to BUDS. He said he was in class 135. Now, I have learned a lot from Don over the years, but I have not memorized the class dates. I knew enough though that 135 did not seem right for a 2000 graduation. He proceeded to roll up his sleeve and show me a Trident tattoo. He exclaimed that its the real deal. I just smiled and moved on. I have no doubt this guy is full of shit.

Looks good. Yep, when putting most fresh fruit into ice cream if you don't soak the fruit with sugar it will freeze solid. I used to make ice cream and still have the machine. It works with fresh fruit like strawberries if you eat your ice cream right away like soft-serve but once it goes in the freezer you get frozen strawberry ice crunchies.

I discovered the answer to one of lifes little mysterys today. I went into my odds and ends drawer for a rubber band and they were all dead and brittle So I asked the wife for a rubberband and she promtly opened a tin container that had a sandwhich bag full of rubberbands in it. I was puzzled. WHY. "Well ya big dummy, if ya don't keep them sealed and out of the light they get brittle" Some things are just learned the hard way.

So, a couple of weeks ago I said that I ran into some dude that I was sure was a phony. Lots of people said to take a pic. I am not interested in confronting these guys but here he was again walking around in the parking lot talking to bikers. As I walked passed him I said, I recognize that Trident and he suddenly looked concerned. He asked if I was a SEAL and I said no. And then his demeanor changed. The guy looked about 60 so I asked when he retired from the Navy. He said he was a SEAL from 2000 to 2012. Oh wow I said. When did you go to BUDS. He said he was in class 135. Now, I have learned a lot from Don over the years, but I have not memorized the class dates. I knew enough though that 135 did not seem right for a 2000 graduation. He proceeded to roll up his sleeve and show me a Trident tattoo. He exclaimed that its the real deal. I just smiled and moved on. I have no doubt this guy is full of shit.

Yep, when putting most fresh fruit into ice cream if you don't soak the fruit with sugar it will freeze solid.
I used to make ice cream and still have the machine. It works with fresh fruit like strawberries if you eat your ice cream right away like soft-serve but once it goes in the freezer you get frozen strawberry ice crunchies.
