I loved my time in Japan. Was stationed at Camp Schwab. We arrived on base in the middle of the night with all barracks shades closed ( in true Marine Corps fashion). When we woke up in the AM and open the shades we saw an ocean paradise before our eyes. The water was crystal blue with the greatest view from right outside of our barracks window. Unfortunately being a Grunt we did not spend too much time in the barracks enjoying that view. Great times...
