I HAVE HUNTED GEESE AND DUCKS FOR OVER 40 YEARS AND THE FIRST THING YOU NEED TO DO IS GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ANY TREES AND ANY STRUCTURE THAT CAN POSSIBLY HIDE SOMETHING THAT CAN BE A THREAT TO THEM BIRDS. USE SOME LAYOUT BLINDS OR GRAB A ARMLOAD OF HAY FOR COVER AND HUNT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD. YOU DON'T NEED A TON OF DECOYS, JUST THE RIGHT PLACE WHERE PREDATORS CAN'T APPROACH WITHOUT BEING DETECTED. ONCE GEESE HAVE BEEN SHOT AT, THEY ARE SMARTER THAT THE AVERAGE IDIOT. i KNOW, BECAUSE THEY OUTSMARTED ME FOR THE FIRST 5 - 6 YEARS. ONCE I FIGURED OUT WHAT TO DO, I HAD GOOSE JERKY COMING OUT OF MY ASS. GOOD HUNTING.
