Knowing what you both went through when Jay was missing I wanted to give you a suggestion. I recommend you take him to the vet and have his wings clipped so he can't fly away outside the plant room. You can't tell by looking at him his wings have been clipped. That way your will keep your pet Jay and not go through the heartbreak you did when he was missing. If you let him continue to fly away there is a pretty good chance he will be killed.
