So I’ve been looking at pureflo a water straw that says it can do 1800 gallons but it doesn’t have any Certs ie just advertising me I use Grayl cause the lab study was real it does 40 gallons then you have to replace filter. Ok Anybody got a real straw with labs

Just a follow up to my thought of the day post. Go back to September 20th, at 9:20 PM. Mick replied about learning to swim at a young age. I couldn't agree more. My father made sure I was very comfortable in the water. Started at age 2, swimming lessons my whole life. Bronze cross when I was 16. On the way to that my father showed me a few tricks. Like when someone grabs you and shoves you under water. My dad demonstrated exactly what to do when someone does that. You don't fight it, you wait till they shove you under to arms length, then you grab their wrist and pull them under. Once they're fully under water you apply a body lock around their arms and torso with your legs from behind. Then apply a rear naked choke around their neck. The first time I ever had to do that I was 10. The kid who shoved me under was 15. I executed everything perfectly, just like father showed me. Dad said wait a few seconds after all the fight is out of them before you release them. I did just that, it was nice to see this 15 year old crying like a bitch to the lifeguard. Only problem was the lifeguard seen him push me under first. The 15 year old was pissed and was waiting for me to come out. My 17 year old brother was also there, big brother told the 15 year old if he had a problem with me he had a problem with him. Bottom line the 15 year old never bothered me again in the water. Dad was so proud of me when he heard what happened. The water is to be enjoyed, but more importantly to be respected. That message was never more clear to me than when I started SCUBA diving. My father taught me how to deal with bullies, on land or in the water. I miss him everyday...🙏
