Thought for the day. We are in the final stages of intentionally hitting an asteroid named Dimorphos. We going to hit it with a spacecraft moving at 14K mph. Just to observe how it deflects away from us.... ha-ha. Supposedly it will not cause the asteroid to change direction and head towards Earth. The hitch in this idea is that I can't remember the last time the Government said something and I actually believed them. With our track record I'm betting on the asteroid. If ya happen to have a helmet of any type, I'd find it and keep it handy folks. Maybe make some plans to relocate to higher elevations.
