I always celebrate my husband's religious holidays with him because I want to support him and Ramadan is on February 17th through March 19th in 2026. It is a beautiful holiday and I've done many paintings of it but I also dread it because fasting hours begin on sunrise and end on sunset. However, since I'll pass out if I don't eat, my contribution is fasting on weed and alcohol during those times. Another reason why I dread it is because you also cannot have sex during fasting hours and not getting laid SUCKS. Chu can tell you all about that.

Stone crab trap, pic from last year. You only take the claws

Good morning Everyone. This buck strolled by this morning. In my woods this is rare. Now catching up with him will be tough. Setting my crab traps today season opens the 15th for stone crab. Muzzleloader opens the 18th. Will post pics of anything good when we pull the traps. For those new and not knowing their for personal consumption I'm not a commercial crabber. In FL you're allowed 5 traps pr person.

This is what 11,000' looks like in October. It might be open by the middle of June.

I loved the night sky at sea. You can see ALL of the stars. Early in my career I noticed that some of those stars are moving pretty quick in a straight line. I figured that more than likely they’re satellites zipping along overhead. I always assumed that they were spy satellites (ours and Russia’s) and would flip them off while looking directly at them. I like to imagine that the CIA and KGB have a folder marked “This f’n guy…” and it’s jammed full of pictures of me in various parts of the world, on land and at sea, flipping them off.

The book I read makes it pretty clear the guy was crazy. He said his marines were trying to kill him, his wife was trying to kill him, the nurses at the VA were trying to kill him, and more.
