Still laughing over the Chrysler electrician getting heat exhaustion trying to keep up to me . Starting to hear options of being at the Chrysler plant till Christmas . A former special forces commando has won his defamation case against the ABC after a Federal Court judge ruled the national broadcaster could not prove articles were reported in the public interest.

Heston Russell sued the ABC and two investigative journalists for defamation over stories published in 2020 and 2021 he claims made it look like he was being investigated for shooting an unarmed prisoner.

Throughout a nine-day trial over July and August, the court was told the allegations arose from a US Marine named 'Josh', who contacted Mr Willacy about his time in Afghanistan working with Australian soldiers.

In an email to Mr Willacy, 'Josh' said he was not a witness, but heard a 'pop' on the radio he believed was a gunshot.
Mr Russell was present for every minute of the trial in Sydney's Federal Court building at Queen's Square, sitting in the back of the court as his legal team described the 'violation' he felt when the articles were published.

On Monday, Justice Michael Lee ruled in favour of Mr Russell and found the national broadcaster could not prove the articles were reported in the public interest.

He awarded Mr Russell $390,000 in damages.

Teacher is bored so she decides she will ask a question on Friday after recess. Whoever gets it right gets rest of Friday off and all day Monday. Teachers asks really hard questions the first 2 weeks so no kids get it. Now, Johnny is no slouch. So following Friday he grabs some ping pong balls and paints them black. During recess Johnny puts the pong pong balls on the teachers desk knowing after recess the teacher will ask a question to get time off. I was about to propose to my girlfriend when my roommate Joseph barged into the room out of nowhere, tripped, and fell over, breaking a glass table with his face. Totally ruined the mood. Now I don't know Joseph THAT well, don't even remember where he was from, but let's say I put my plans on hold to help him through his injuries.

Joseph had gotten a big glass shard in his eye, making him completely blind in that eye. He was walking around with one of those big cotton pads on his eye for a couple of months. Then suddenly, he disappeared, along with my girlfriend.

Apparently they'd bonded during the time after his injuries, and eloped together, leaving me behind without as much as a note. I tried to track them down, but never could.

In conclusion, if it hadn't been for Joe with his cotton eye, I'd have been married a long time ago. Where did you come from, where did you go? Where did you come from, cotton eye Joe?
