Thanks to the government shutdown I haven't been able to go to my program for autistic adults since it's funded by the government and I've started regressing in my walking and motor skills. Thank god for my dad and my husband because they met with my case manager and since my dad worked for DHHS he knew exactly what to ask and my husband being a doctor he knew what to say and what to ask as well. I am now getting at home therapy and my husband told his work he was going to work from home until I could go back since he wants to be there. I hope no one on here is badly affected by this bullshit.

Also, if yāall are looking for some good meat you can trust at an incredible price, go out to the Amish. They will sell you a whole hog or cow or any other animal they have to sell and itās already quartered or you can request to have them further butcher it into smaller pieces. I know when I was stationed at Little Creek back in 2013, my uncle was a 1 star admiral and had a nice house and once a year he would let me get some of the guys go out to Amish land, buy 2 hogs and 35 chickens and then we would bring it back and dig pits and cook them for 24 to 28 hours in the ground and the Iād have all the guys that wanted to come over and party. I tried to do it once a year or Iād do it just before or just after a deployment. I know the Amish up in Northern Neck does it, also Halifax and Charlotte county Amish do as well. Good times. What I wouldnāt give to be able to go back before all the surgeries and do it all over again lol.

Also, if yāall are looking for some good meat you can trust at an incredible price, go out to the Amish. They will sell you a whole hog or cow or any other animal they have to sell and itās already quartered or you can request to have them further butcher it into smaller pieces. I know when I was stationed at Little Creek back in 2013, my uncle was a 1 star admiral and had a nice house and once a year he would let me get some of the guys go out to Amish land, buy 2 hogs and 35 chickens and then we would bring it back and dig pits and cook them for 24 to 28 hours in the ground and the Iād have all the guys that wanted to come over and party. I tried to do it once a year or Iād do it just before or just after a deployment. I know the Amish up in Northern Neck does it, also Halifax and Charlotte county Amish do as well. Good times. What I wouldnāt give to be able to go back before all the surgeries and do it all over again lol.
