Already starting to connect the dots too with the dates on the DD214, which is really cool. USS Boxer CV-21... aircraft carrier launching and landings and early jet fighters were at the core of his training. He was the opposite of these phonies -- he didn't speak in general, had absolutely zero interest in being in any form of limelight, and he only really talked about the planes he worked on and the technical side of things. What I'm really interested in is learning about his assignments at China Lake.
