I missed yesterdays podcast (was watching football).Hope everyone is safe after the storm.Is -24 here.I had to hire help to me get dug out after the last windstorm.I usually pay 20.00 a hour.I gave them 40.00 cuz the winter is not over yet and may need some help later.Now all I have to do is train another snow removal dude to do my drivway the way I want it done.I am a lifelong Alaskan and also a retired heavy equipment operator.(amoungst other things) so it has to be done my way in order for everything to things right.This is one of the most shitty years for winter than I have seen in years.Is hard to ask for help.Hang in there Buzz! I have not had words with him since Dec 2005, when my mother passed. Long story… He’s had a list of trouble including the Law since that day in ‘79. It seems to me that most families have at least one episode of bullshit. Mine was with my daughter and has caused me to be totally ex communicato with her for over 12 yrs. I am still amazed at the stories that get back to me about our falling out. I have not spoken to anyone about the incident,other than I'm still waiting for an apology in person. ( no other details) I don't accept apologies by proxy. I'll probably be waiting in hell for the apology,if thats what it takes. "I'm sorry" in an Email just doesn't cut it, after being screamed at in a public restaurant for 15 minutes to be sure she had enough people watching. It really amazes me about the details that I have never discussed that she claims I've told other people. Shit happens ...ya move on.

We are in somewhat the same type situation. My only comment on our situation is, I too have had to deal with my wife going through hell over the same type of situation its real personal to a mother. Sucks seeing Don or anyone dealing with family issues. I was married to a controlling narcissist woman who divided my family. My Mom a RN and wonderful lady saw her granddaughter my daughter 3 times before she was 6 months old. Only lived 8 miles away. Never took her for ice cream or anything. I never took her anywhere because my crazy x wife would start a fight. Controlling manipulative argumentive bitch. My Mom would call me crying asking if she could see her only granddaughter because it's been 4,5,6 months since she last saw her And when she did it was impersonal. Cold and calcuIating. I would try to talk reason to a unreasonable bitch. Holidays I would get heartburn because the X would plan shit not involving my family. She would turn it into a argument. I didn't have this kid for your fucking Mother she would say. So short of literally wanting to do something irreversible I would just walk out. I got my ducks in a row and filed when my daughter was 7. Up till that point she never went hunting with me or anything. Then she developed a relationship with her Grammie and with me without her Mother around trying to control everything. Sounds crazy but you find yourself trapped. Was a painful chapter in my life and everyone exposed. Fast forward my father passed 2 years ago and my Mom being venerable is now with a Narcissist. The pillow talk the bullshit having lived it I can spot it a mile away. Divide and conquer. And they know exactly how to do it. So dealing with that currently. Guess no family is exempt from issues. So watching this series hits home. Sorry Don and Diane for what your going through. Lived it and living it now... Edit. One last thing. Got joint custody as the courts call it and the x was the primary. Had standard visitation. Every other weekend and each wed. She held me to it. Missed my daughter so bad everyday I would bring her lunch to school and sign her out. At times I would sit with her in the lunchroom fighting back tears with 2nd graders sitting around me. A big lumpy 6ft2 guy almost crying cause he misses his daughter so much. I tried to always take the high road as hard as it was.Rachel would say Daddy why can't I see you more. Then I would say ask your Mom. Kids are smart and catch on. 

Don, I haven’t read the comments that you were talking about at the end. It is sad that every site has keyboard warriors that think they know the whole story. I have been a member of this site for along time and followed you long before this site. The main reason that I have followed you is you tell things the way they are, you’re an honest person. I know these videos can’t be easy to make, but don’t let a few people stop you from telling the true story. You have a lot of people that have your back!
