btw- climate change around here isnt more tornados or hurricanes or fires- we had a drought and then- i think- climate change- we get the warmest winters- shee its 50 in december- and biggest winds and hailstorms- and a couple years of grasshoppers like u would not believe- and tumbleweeds during extra windy days- lots of tumbleweeds- this kind of pileup- in roads any concave place between buildings and fences- its best to make a circular windbreak- tear down the fence and anything a tumbleweed can stick to- they brush against and rip up my small windbreak trees so i have to put a little wire fencing cage around each one- this tumbleweed thing didnt use to happen- the tumbleweeds are packed in with 50 mph winds-

coyotes- i try to sneak up on those things for total fail- they sit 100 yards away and ask- "are u hoooome?" and then all the lights go out and the door opens and closes- its too dark to shoot them but u can go out and make weapon noises- they prefer fence lines and roads- they check houses at dawn like all around the house- i seen one place they approach the back of the house at night and meow- i had the most remarkable experience once> i was guarding a cat in a kennel as coyotes appproached- i hid silent in shadows- they tried to scare it out as they circled and howled- then the cat got mad and started yowling- i stay silent in shadows as the coyotes go nuts circling- then more approach like a big male sounding real big like he is tarzan

He suffered head trauma and died on Jan. 19 from his injuries. Two other fighters were injured, but are in stable condition, per Thiemann. 

Swift enlisted in 2005. He achieved the rank of Special Warfare Operator 1st Class. A service record provided by the Navy does not say what specific units he served with, but there were detachments with a “ West Coast-based Special Warfare Unit” as well as a “Naval Special Warfare Cold Weather Detachment” in Alaska. He also received an Iraq Campaign Medal, an Afghanistan Campaign Medal and a Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. 

He was reported AWOL in March 2019. The Navy currently lists him as an “active deserter.” Rolling Stone reported that a month later in April a warrant for his arrest went out for a charge of false imprisonment tied to his divorce; the warrant is still active. 

“The Navy Absentee Collection and Information Center confirmed that the Sailor was is in an active deserter status since March 11, 2019,” the Navy said in a statement. “We cannot speculate as to why the former Sailor was in Ukraine.”

The Navy said that Swift was killed in Dnipro, although fighters he served with said he died in Bakhmut.
