Completed my first storage mission for tomorrows . My friend I shared lodgings with off and on while in Ontario , she taught me about Costco and opened my eyes to buying in bulk . My last landlord and now good friend taught me packaging and dividing so things are not one big frozen blob . Freezer bags and wax paper . Just finished 6 chickens , 2 packs of thick cut bacon , a rack of 8 chicken breasts , rack of 8 mild sausages . Phil was raised in Granada during the war and my little friend has a Dutch back ground . Both with tough childhoods but have the grace a good hearts to pass these teachings on to a little ding bat like myself . For this I am for ever grateful .  Stephan Bonnar, UFC hall of fame inductee. He and Forrest Griffin had one of the greatest fights the UFC has seen. Their fight saved the UFC from going under. Within minutes of that fight starting, millions of people tuned in to watch it. Bonnar passed away Dec 22, 2022. They initially said he died from heart complications due to a severe staff infection. Just yesterday the Clark County coroner's office in Nevada has changed the cause of death. They ruled Bonnar’s death accidental from “Fentanyl, Parafluorofentanyl and Mitragynine intoxication” in an email sent to MMA Fighting after a public records request following the UFC Hall of Famer’s death on Dec. 22 in Las Vegas. He was 45. It all started with pain pills, then the addiction. Now with that fucking poison (Fentanyl) being found in everything now, he ended up with some fake pain pills laced with that shit. It must have been hard on his family, friends, and fans to watch him on that final downward spiral. I always loved watching his fights, he always showed up and put it all on the line. They didn't call him the American psycho for nothing. This is how I choose to remember him...RIP

Crows...

The RCMP found over 2000 dead crows on Alberta hwys recently, and there was concern that they may have died from Avian Flu. A Pathologist examined the remains of all the crows and, to everyone's relief, confirmed the problem was NOT Avian Flu.

The cause of death appeared to be from vehicular impacts. However, during analysis, it was noted that varying colors of paint appeared on the bird's beaks and claws. By analyzing these paint residues, it was found that 98% of the crows had been killed by impact with motorbikes, while only 2% were killed by cars.

The RCMP then hired an Ornithological Behaviourist to determine if there was a cause for the disproportionate percentages of motorbike kills versus car kills.

The Ornithological Behaviourist quickly concluded that when crows eat road kill, they always have a look-out crow to warn of danger. They discovered that while all the lookout crows could shout "Cah", not a single one could shout "bike."

Just watched your last post about Watts and being named OSCAR …funny shit Don. You know has an old Marine in early to mid 80’s there was some racism in there and a few remarks from everyone blacks to whites whites to blacks Blacks to Mexican , Mexican to blacks and whites etc etc. but it was always in a bit of military fun.
