She said she knew she’d never get the other done if she didn’t do it that way. However it’s been many years now and her knees are doing great! I hope you have all the success she’s had. Luckily you have a good “nurse” to care for you afterwards and if I were you I’d make him wear that hot little nurse’s outfit for you. Please take video of that lol. You two are in my prayers.

I don't know how you got out of the hospital so quick. My aunt's both had maybe a similar surgery. They kept them both for two
days, but the first 4 day's were the worse. I believe they stop the physical therapy after 4 weeks, they claimed it was aggravating. Good luck with the surgery and wish you a speedy recovery.

This is an unusual sight in North Dakota in January. There's a lake about a half a mile west of me and a herd of Canada geese kept a part of it open right through the -25⁰ cold spell. They fly over my house every day when they go out to feed.

A staggering warning.

Good luck Diane. I had both knees replaced, one reopened and repaired after a fall. I found out that you have to REALLY PUSH the therapy from the first day on when the home therapist arrives. You need to get maximum range of motion early on or you will never be right. Pain meds and gummies work best. Alcohol could be dangerous with the oxy. This coming from a drinker.

This last Saturday night, I went down the basement stairs and landed on my head and shoulder.

Bruised and busted up, but alive, and fortunate to be alive.

Some quality VA hospital time over the past few days and an extended stay are expected, but still alive and causing hell.

I will need two appliances, one leg, some special disc work on my back and neck, and some re-enforcement of my busted-up shoulder, buggered up a kidney, head laceration, pretty bad concussion, with intense headache and barfing.

But like I said, I am alive, and grateful to still be alive.

In Australia we used to have a magnificent Govt owned power supply and network. It was all sold off in the 90s so now we pay 10 X more than we used to.
So everyones forced to play ring a ring a rosey 4 times a year to pay the lowest price. MY latest mob gave me a Smart Meter so I can see live prices and adjust my use accordingly. This mob adds their 22 cents a KW to the live price plus 19 bucks a month plus a dollar a day. See how hard they make it to compare? Hows an old person sposed to work it out?
It goes from 3 cents KW to 3 bucks a KW depending on supply and demand.
Aircon is on now as its 21 cents but at 11pm its 2 bucks.
This is what everyone has to do now, adjust usage to the price or you pay 3 x times what you should. Ive put the big freezer on a timer and turn the aircon off when the price is high thats all I can do but I might save 100 bucks a quarter we will see.

One person household pays 1400-2000 a year now. A family can be 4 times that depends.

We were brought up to turn things off when not in use that does not apply now.

Very nice job not much swelling. They kicked her out early because they were very happy with the result. Day three hurts take ya pills but watch the wine or you will end up naked on the barn roof firing a shotgun.

Diane, glad you are home so soon--don't be afraid to take that hydrocodone and demand more if you need it. I spent 18 months on it PLUS fentanyl patch after disasterous back surgery. If you ever think you are addicted, call me--been there--done that.
