Im checkin' off the site for a couple of days. Too many remberances although that's a good thing. The faces behind the wall are all too clear for some reason this year. Maybe its because the survivors are now beginning to go all too often. Called a 45 year bedrock drinkin' buddy, whore chasin', practical jokin' true son-of-a-bitch shipmate a couple of nights ago. His wife answered..... Have a meaningful Memorial Day folks.

When I was at Ft Dix , I was cadre at the range . My roommate was dating one of the girls from the HQ . We all lived in the same barracks . she broke up with him and he got drunk that night and rammed his car into the brick sign at the entrance to base, killing himself...i had CID come and tell me...was messed up..He was from OKLAHOMA . Only 20 yrs old...

Good Morning Mister and Mrs. America and all the Ships ay Sea!!!!!!Going to Arlington National Cemetary today and to the "WALL" Tomorrow and then The WWll and Korean War (Memorial) on Sunday. I figure it will be my last chance to do so. P.S. F*** jane fonda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
