SWEET JESUS....... my phone, email, and message board has been SRO since 0800. If any of you knew the COLLECTIVE outpouring of love and support for the Shipleys that I've heard today.... well, its humbling to me to be associated with such fine members, such PATRIOTS, and such just genuinely GREAT human beings.

The pieces are beginning to come together. Looks like there will be entities for donations. One will be the legal defense fund and the other will be for helping PEOPLE at the new facility.

I can give you my three guidelines that are in place RIGHT NOW and they are non-negotiable:
1. Preserve the good name , reputations, and - in time - the legacy of Don and Diane Shipley.
2. Ensure the financial integrity of the charitable trusts is rock solid by sound internal controls, effective oversight, and total transparency.
3. That each member and contributing member is fully vested in knowin they are helping America's military and other members of society that the Shipleys identify as being in need AND that that contributing member knows they are welcome to participate as a fully vested member of a group of the finest people on the planet.

I was humbled at Diane's video yesterday. I was further humbles at both of their kind words today. I have been BLOWN AWAY after talking to you guys non-stop since mid morning. Just BLOWN AWAY. I wish I could communicate the level and intensity of support for D&D. Funny thing is that it was so consistent with every caller.
