Hilarious - Don in his swim trunks and court shoes locked and loaded and blowing the brains out of a bat in your living room. Now there's a visual that will take the jaws of life to get it out of your head. Doesn't get much better than that.

On a more serious note, bats play a prominent role as reservoirs for rabies so any exposure should not be taken lightly. The number of human deaths in the United States attributed to rabies has steadily declining since the 1970’s due to animal control and improved biologicals and vaccination programs but there are still 30,000 – 60,000 Americans being vaccinated against rabies each year. Bats can access in tiny openings such as crevices in the soffits or more likely through screen doors left open or possibly through the chimney.
