You're a wonderful grandfather!

Reminds me when my dad gave me a Rambo style knife (with compass on the handle) and I showed my grandfather. I pulled that knife out and was probably inches from his face. I was so excited. My mom came in and hated. Screamed and took the knife away. Thank you for bringing that memory back.

Worlds greatest grandparents!

Don is just like my dad. He was probably bummed at first that he didn't have a little boy, until he realized I loved weapons and shooting as much as him. I could out shoot all the boys. We had a lot of fun. I think all little girls should be taught to shoot. When I went to lawschool, I had a home invasion. The guy broke in through my balcony at 3am, but I heard it and was already trained on him before he made it fully inside (he was struggling with the glass and had stepped into the living room). I wasn't afraid, just hyper focused. That guy knew some college student didn't have anything to steal, he was there for me. He sure didn't anticipate a pretty young girl to be so well prepared. I can only imagine what would have happened had I not been up studying or so well versed in home defense. Thanks dad! 

Don, you and Diane are incredible people. Thanks for sharing your life with us. Completely cheering you on and inspired by your grandfathering. You're an amazing role model.

Lol reminds me of my dad. In 80s New Orleans it was a Mecca of card and coin magic plus all forms of magic tricks. My dad was a skilled card of hand and sleight of hand illusionist. He had a trick perfectly removing his index finger. Lol as a kid I didn’t know any better and believed him when he said he had a fake finger and the stump healed over. Look a good magician he built this up for weeks. Always talking about having the severed finger on an ice he’d get reattached one day but we couldn’t afford it as he was an English teacher.
He showed me a white cardboard box he’d never open kept in the freezer. For days he built this up too until it became he day he jet me open it. A white cardboard jewelry box. On a bed of cotton with blood was an index finger. He knew I’d touch it. When I did it jumped at me and thrashed about. lol I freaked the fuck out and my mom sent him to the doghouse for at least a week.
Oh he also had a little raccoon creature he called Rocky. Jesus he could manipulate this puppet thing so well it looked more real than an actual raccoon. He said it had rabies but the vet had vaccinated him on time or so he was told. Then Rocky would lunge at your face while he did the voice throwing magician trick of a screaming woman.
Lol. Yeah he was kind of an asshole but a great guy. Very talented magician too.

Was after I divorced my narcissist crazy x and started taking my daughter places on my own and she finally got to spend time with her Grandma. Anyway it was dark around a campfire and I started laying it on. About a story of 3 little girls that disappeared in the lake which isn't far from camp. They looked and looked a hundred years ago and rumour had it that Indian spirits where known to drown little kids. And the Old timers say they would see little girls dressed in white playing and laughing around the pond calling to come join them then scream for help. They both were scared. Daughter sucked up to Grammy on her lap and my mom was asking me wording it if it was true. I layed it on good. Thanks for bringing back a good memory. He's lucky he has you and Diane. Excellent video.

When we moved into our country limestone home built in 1907, a beautiful oak staircase lead up to 3rd floor. We had an old Chucky doll and a window was up at top of stairs. We put Chucky in window. Did it so our son wouldn’t go up in attic. He never did except once but saw Chucky
