Down in El Campo Texas we saw a truck with its flashers on. As we got closer we saw a male and a female that was in distress and sad. She had hit a big buck. He didn't have a pistol or rifle. It was paralyzed from the rear quarters down and it was dragging itself on its front two legs and it was making this so so sad grunt cry. It was in severe pain. My buddy ran back to the truck grabbed his desert eagle 40 and ran up and put it out of its misery as fast as he could. We were expecting the guy to say he was going to call the game warden but he looked at us and said y'all mind helping us load it we don't want it to go to waste because the game warden is not going to get out here till tomorrow and we could use the meat. So we helped him load it. Lucky for her she had a cattle guard on the front so there was minimal damage. If you hit a deer and it is dead (or alive/ hurt) you're supposed to call the game warden or equivalent immediately. Had we waited for the GW then the deer would have spoiled so we took the risk and helped them. She clearly didn't hit it on purpose as she was crying. He was shook up. Neither saw my buddy grab his pistol and were shocked until they realized it was out of pain and they were very grateful because it had been hit 10-15 minutes prior. Seeing this vid reminded me of that day in El Campo Tx

I have mentioned the supposed big black cats in Australia before, they are thought to be mascots of the US Troops stationed here during WW2 or maybe escaped from a Circus. Now we have undeniable proof something is out there..
Corps gives me 4 shots and sends me home for a week before shippin out across the pond, i put the shot record booklet in a china cabinet at me mothers house. Last night home im drinkin with my civilian friends, they drive me to my mothers to get my gear and then to Ohare airport, we all have a good buzz its dark and the radio is playing " going to california with an aching in my heart."I get to Pendleton and then up to Travis AFB. Checking in they ask for my orders and shot record, i hand over both, or so i thought, In my rush i had grabbed my little sisters bank book instead of my shot book , i had to get all the shots again. I like gettin shots, and i like shots of patron too. hah
