All quiet on the western front

I opened the freezer door and a jar, it decided it was going to fall on my foot, I thrust my hand at the speed of light to grab it before it fell . That energy was transferred into my shoulder and the door, which swung to shut, and got me on the temple as I had bent down to catch it. My head hurts, post concussive headache.
The rubber seal was lower than the corner of the door. Its all a miracle of physics really, couldnt replicate it.
Saved the jar tho, sweet and sour sauce with prawns and rice for tea.

Then you have to cook it, and smoke it, cook it so long you can water the garden, then you have to cook it in a pan, and it comes out looking like raw dead kangaroo.
Then he says you cant overcook it. I believe him its still honking theres still blood pouring out of it after cooking for a week.

The bird gets most of its food now from foraging.The land floods, gravity old boy. Higher tides, more water, more weight, rinse and repeat.

Go and look at the bloke who uses water bladders to block flood water. Bladders conform to the surface, water does not get under them. Hes beaten 5 floods when all the neighbors get 5 feet of water. With your military contacts you might be able to get used bladders.
He removes his, but you could build soil up over yours and leave them in place maybe.

PEAK BODY RESIGNS EN MASSE
The town of Hallett is on the lookout for members of a new peak body,
after the former members of the Hallett Community and Sports Association
resigned en masse last week.Due to no handover of duties being
carried out prior to the resignation of the board, Regional Council of
Goyder chief executive officer David Stevenson said the matter was now
formally with Consumer and Business Services.
"The resignation of the officers means the operation of the association is brought to a halt," he said.
"Consumer and Business Services, who manage incorporated
associations in this state have been apprised of the resignations by way
of a copy being sent to them by the former chairperson. I understand
from the former chair that the HCSA now falls into the defunct
category."
Former HSCA chairperson, Kristine Peters, declined to comment
for this article, however HCSA left a message on the group's Facebook
page.
"It is with deep regret that the committee of the Hallett
Community and Sports Association has resigned as committee members due
to bullying and harassment by a small number of Hallett residents," the
statement read.
"This means that the HCSA is not currently functioning and
therefore cannot provide access to the Hall and other HCSA-leased
facilities. All enquiries regarding Hall access, camping or other
matters should be referred to the Regional Council of Goyder."
Mr Stevenson attended an HSCA meeting in April, prior to the committee's resignation.
"We attended their meeting and part of that was to understand
what the committee's longer term strategic intention was in relation to
the grandstand there," he said.
"During that meeting we did get some concerns about the longevity of the officer holders was likely to be," he said.
Following the fallout of last week, Mr Stevenson said the operation of the HCSA as we knew it was in abeyance.
"I am waiting for CBS to contact me and have a conversation
about the unwinding. My view is it would be wise for council to perhaps
see what they have to say and then make a decision regarding the leased
assets we have with the association," he said.
Mr Stevenson noted HCSA hasd about $80,000 with the Local
Government Finance Authority, and about $20,00 cash in bank. It is not
as though they are insolvent," he said.
"I would think CBS would be looking to achieve an orderly
transition of the incorporated association's functions either to a new
one, or new members and officers.
"I think prudently, the best thing to do if there are interested
community members would be to establish a new incorporated association
because it effectively breaks any legal links with liabilities we don't
know about and you don't want to be putting people up to fail."
Mr Stevenson said it was unfortunate the matter was not handled
in a more orderly manner, as the formal process undertaken by CBS was
likely to incur significant cost.
"The only way an association can be wound up and transferred is via CBS, and it's an act of the supreme court," he said.
"I am not privy to how they do it, but the first thing that is
on my mind is there is a lot of cost. Whether that comes to pass is
unknown and we will have conversations with CBS to sort it out."
Representative for Hallett, Councillor Anthony Brooks said there
were enough community members there wanting to form a committee.
"It's disappointing from my perspective that the committee have
resigned, they are going to be hard shoes to fill, but the community
will have to look forward and people will have to put their hands up to
form a new committee."
Cr Brooks said he anticipated a town meeting in July would be held to consider options.
