A bit of goose hunting trivia. If you can bring them in to decoys the yellow 20ga work fine. For a little bit more range, and noise, the red 12ga work. But if noise doesn't matter and they don't want to come very close the 3 1/2" 10ga in the middle is the answer.

Before Senior got Xina and Warrior, he decided he wanted the best hunting dog ever. So he did the research and found the breeder of the best hunting dogs ever. He goes down to the breeder and asks for a demonstration. The breeder obliged. The breeder took Senior and a dog out to a blind.
Breeder: Imma send this dog out and it'll tell you how many duck are out there.
Senior: bullshit
The dog goes out and comes back a few minutes later and barks 3 times.
Breeder: there's 3 ducks.
Senior: bullshit
Breeder let's off a round and sure enough 3 ducks fly out.
So Senior buys the dog and heads back home to impress his friends at the blind...
Senior: Watch this... He sends the dog out. the dogs gone awhile and finally comes back with a stick and starts humping his leg. Senior sends the dog back out and gets the same result. He decides to get a refund for the defective dog.
Breeder: what's wrong with him?
Senior: the only thing he did was play fetch and hump my leg. I demand a refund!!!!

Breeder: YOU WEREN'T LISTENING!!! He was saying there were more ducks out there than you can shake a fucking stick at.

Senior went to Mrs Diane's doctor, concerned about her hearing.
The doctor says, “Stand behind her and say something and tell me how close you are when she hears you.” So Senior goes home, sees Diane in the kitchen, cutting carrots on the countertop. About 15 feet away he says, “Honey, what’s for dinner?” Nothing. He gets halfway to her and repeats the same question. Nothing. Very concerned, he gets right behind her and asks again “What’s for dinner?” She turns around and says “For the THIRD time, beef stew!”

Went way up North once to Cape York. Old mate Cyril was looking for oysters and said theres none here I said youre standing on them, he looked still couldnt see em. Then the penny dropped, they were a foot long and 5 inches wide. They looked like part of the rocks they were so big.

Very interesting Don. I sent you a link on your new email a wood device to hold oyster in place to shuck. When I lived with my brother in MCLean VA we used to go down docks and buy a bushel sometimes 2 for Thanksgiving and took bacon and bread crumbs and would put in oven. We kept old shells to reuse and sometimes buy them shucked by the gallon. I’ll send you the recipe. Do stop down docks in DC and talk to those old birds they will give you good info. Keep us updated! Great video Senior, glad to hear that you and Diane are feeling better. I'm sure there's gonna be lots of laughs and good hunts when the boys get there. Just be sure to let them know that this year there is a 2 drink limit, and a curfew of 9PM. The Cardinal and I thought long and hard on this decision, we decided it would be in everyone's best interests.
