Morning . Picked up a new house paint sprayer yesterday . Brother turned 71 yesterday . 5 gallon pail of paint got 3 of the 4 out side walls of his trailer done . In the afternoon I got 5 gallon pail on the old homestead house . A little stoved up this morning . A few hundred dollars and a little effort has really gave him a new spark in him . Really enjoyed our time together and he was very attentative towards me . Best little birthday party ever . Of course life has to sneek up behind us . Expect the unexpected . Second sisters garage burnt down . Those two women have had their asses handed to them this month . Praise the Lord it wasn't the house . Off to Red Deer for more paint this morning .

Over the years I've probably killed more doves in my driveway drinking from a puddle than out on some farm with a shotgun. A garden hose and a pellet gun and a cool drink at sunset can be habit forming.Two or three decoys and some day old uneaten corn is hard for them to pass up. Although a good dove hunt on a freshly harvested grain field with half a dozen friends is a real nice way to spend an afternoon too. Best field I was consistantly successful on was a buckwheat field with 3 dead trees at one end. That was like the bombing of Germany. They were everywhere.

Got a hysterectomy over a week ago and all I can say is I'm so happy I can sleep in my own bed and eat good food instead of being stuck at the damn hospital for a week. since a lot of us members here were US Military, I have a serious question for yall.
think back to when ya served, granted most of us didnt concentrate too much on politics usually, we knew we'd do what we were ordered to do regardless who the President was, but does ANYONE remember very many dems/libs? I DONT! most all my Unit were Conservative/Repubs. Ive known very, very, VERY few Dem Vets and they were the OLD Dems. I have a metric shit ton of old Sailors in my extended fam, all Conservatives except 2 or 3 OLD Dems, my bro-in-law is retired USAF, most all his friends he served with are Republicans too.

Over the years I've probably killed more doves in my driveway drinking from a puddle than out on some farm with a shotgun. A garden hose and a pellet gun and a cool drink at sunset can be habit forming.Two or three decoys and some day old uneaten corn is hard for them to pass up. Although a good dove hunt on a freshly harvested grain field with half a dozen friends is a real nice way to spend an afternoon too. Best field I was consistantly successful on was a buckwheat field with 3 dead trees at one end. That was like the bombing of Germany. They were everywhere.

Happy Tuesday everyone. Sunny and 80 here in Maine. Been relaxing outside with a book since 12 pm. Got a hysterectomy over a week ago and all I can say is I'm so happy I can sleep in my own bed and eat good food instead of being stuck at the damn hospital for a week. Recovery is going good but it's a bitch because I'm struggling to do housework. Hope everyone is healthy and doing great!
