Turned from mirror to 8ft seas. We would drop down the front and get smashed over the bow. Boats full of water. Engine dies as we coast thru the opening in the Galveston jetties. Get home. Tell my parents we nearly died. My mom says "Last night I dreamed y'all went fishing offshore and capsized and we couldn't find you." Was probably 1/4 of what y'all went thru but I know the feeling. Me the Marine, I was at the wheel and my buddies were huddled in front. Was the last time I went offshore in a 19ft mid-vee center console

Mysterious Stealth Boat In Mississippi Boatyard Linked To Special Forces Program


A picture of a mysterious stealth boat has surfaced on social media. The catamaran was spotted in a boatyard in Gulfport, Mississippi, known for the high-tech manufacturing of vessels for US special forces.

Defense analyst for USNI News, H I Sutton, geolocated the stealth boat, which appears to be in construction at US Marine Inc (USMI) on the river Bernard Bayou. He said USMI has a long history of "building high-specification riverine and inshore special forces vessels."

"One of their major customers has been USSOCOM, including Naval Special Warfare (NSW) which contains the US Navy SEALs. USMI previously supplied the SEALs with High-Speed Boats (HSB) and the better known Mk.V Special Operations Craft," Sutton continued.

USMI was recently awarded a $108,000,000 contract to build USSOCOM Combatant Craft Assault (CCA) vessels. He said, "the new catamaran shares some major features with the CCA."

It is not linked here, yet, but for those who do not know, Don does a detailed version of this hunting trip, he gives careful explanation WHY the two of them are going to die, and then their "Resurrection" if you will  I listen to that one, and the SEAL who loses his nose to a rocket flare, and who Don tries to kill in his hospital bed, at least 3 times a year. Don is a great storyteller, and the Resurrection Duck Hunt in Ask D&D Shit is WELL worth a listen. I'd pay what my member ship costs me every year just to be able to listen to that one story!

Listening to you describe things like the night lockout from a submarine. Holy hell that takes balls in the daytime. I cant imagine crawling out of a sub into the darkness of the ocean at night with a breathing apparatus. There is a reason you guys are so special. It takes a special kind of man to do things like that.
