I agree that the draft should be revisited. I would object however if the "deferments" were a part of that. We were WWII kids, let "all" serve. No excuses, no fuckin deferments. If the draft is brought back as i hope it would be, a " degree" would not trump sevice. Let the educated elite be included in the draw.

Bridgechief is on deck tonight. salute. I have more than a few of your lengthy posts copied to my notes for further study. I'm reading this one tonight about CAR's. Combat Action Ribbons. Bridgechief says....
The reason I am so hard on the CAR is I am a ground guy and have received two, both of them attached with Marines in combat, and this is why I look at it real hard when I see Navy guys that have it on. I have a CAB from being on a Special Joint Task Force in Iraq 2010-2011 and I did not convert because I have the other two CAR's earned with USMC.

I'm an addict. I admit it. I'm thinking about going to a ESE 12 step meeting. I'm cravin' for a new bust. Waveoff talks with Senior regularly and says some good shit is coming. I'm looking forward to it. Scottie, pet Sam for me, she knows she's loved no matter what happens.
