AIRBORNE! I trained with what we all believed to be Delta guys on Bragg. Seemed like your regular cut from stone brilliant 11 bravo with nicer watches to me. Long story short. I was a close quarter kill with miles gear and felt like an idiot. I went from cherry to army green that night. Learned so very much from them.

My father was in Vietnam as an Artilleryman, when he talks about the war, it seems much different to what I've heard of an infantrymen's experience. I hope his unit never put any shells down on any of our own.
