20 minutes of me almost looking like I know what I'm doing at times. I will say: my landing just after the 10 minute mark was pretty awesome. Kinda hard to see all the numbers the way I recorded it so I'll lay it out. Had missile lock on my approach, took a hard dive to force it into the ground. Okay great but now I'm doing my approach at 770 mph. Thankfully I was in a F35ish bird so was able to transition into a partial vtol mode to bleed about 450 mph off my speed by the time the wheels hit the tarmac. Made a nice city gun run in the few minutes leading up that landing.
Top 10 war movies. I'd scrap Von Ryans Express and insert "Heavan Knows Mr. Allison" It just makes my list because there is so little fighting,and allot of personal interaction between the lead actors. I'd also elevate 12 oclock high to number 1. My reason was simple. In most fighting situations the good guys get to hide behind something. Those bombers were like pidgeons and it was only God and a few 50's that got you home. ( And the fact that I knew a tailgunner with over 30 missions.) Well I caught up with old mate Murray. He looks like he just got out of Changi but hes alive. Everythings ticketyboo, only a few more chemo treatments to go and hes one of the 3% who beat it. Not bad for 80 hes done very well all things considered. No Pancreatic Cancer in the family, a clean life, so just one of natures mysteries I guess.

its late i should be asleep i have a problem with sleep deprivation- i watched the whole 5 3/4 hours of shawn ryan interviewing some guy named vargas- shawn ryans interviews seem to spend a lot of time about life before military and then recruitment and early training and then the combat and then life after combat- this vargas guy was a sniper marine guarding the abbie gate during the afghanistan evac- he reported on the mistakes- abbie gate had a taliban suicide bomber target a crowd and a group of marines- vargas was there from the 19th to the 26th- i think he said- they set up a gate and would let people in and the state dept would tell them which ones to send bak out- the ones they sent bak out got bad fates from the taliban- vargas talked about the first days at abbie where he saw the taliban stopping people- beating them and shooting some- then the state dept made a deal to have the taliban be the ones to work crowd control outside of the gate- vargas and the marines had been warned about a suicide bomber- they had a physical description- they saw him they had their sights on him- they needed authorization- ?- they asked an officer and he said he didnt have power to authorize and so they asked- who does have the power?- the officer said he would check and they never heard from him again- vargas went out in the crowd with another marine to help get an afghani friend in- he got bombed- the marines were working some sort of crowd control with a dispersed line- like one marine guard every ten yards- for some reason they had been ordered bak some and were in a group- remember now they had multiple reports and sightings of a suicide bomber- so it was dum to group together with a bomber near- i wanted to load this little vid again

MEATLOAF making a fool of himself at our most important gig of the year. I dare you to listen to the end. Bat out of hell is exceptionally disasterous. He was booed off stage and this is a direct audio feed, the best they could do with him given his voice. The Band was good, the back up singers good, but the Loaf was not cooked. I think he lost the crowd when he yelled "cmon whats fucking wrong with you" so they sang and sounded 10 times better then he did. The Loaf has gone down in Australian History as the worst gig of all time. Just not me saying it, its been recorded in the Annals of time. Just skip to the 8 min mark for one min.

There is an Australian plant called Atriplex aka Saltbush. It will grow in pretty much salt water. It is non invasive and can be cut down to the base and will regrow. Birds love it and its great for removing salt from the soil. I can send you seeds if you want them. Turn your salt pans into an Oasis. You can also eat it but I dont know why you would want to.

MEATLOAF making a fool of himself at our most important gig of the year. I dare you to listen to the end. Bat out of hell is exceptionally disasterous. He was booed off stage and this is a direct audio feed, the best they could do with him given his voice. The Band was good, the back up singers good, but the Loaf was not cooked. I think he lost the crowd when he yelled "cmon whats fucking wrong with you" so they sang and sounded 10 times better then he did. The Loaf has gone down in Australian History as the worst gig of all time. Just not me saying it, its been recorded in the Annals of time. Just skip to the 8 min mark for one min.

There is an Australian plant called Atriplex aka Saltbush. It will grow in pretty much salt water. It is non invasive and can be cut down to the base and will regrow. Birds love it and its great for removing salt from the soil. I can send you seeds if you want them. Turn your salt pans into an Oasis. You can also eat it but I dont know why you would want to.
