went for a test ride last night to see how injured back and hamstring pull affect ability to ride. have found icing is best treatment for healing. Inflammation is a natural response to injury, helping to remove damaged tissue and initiate repair. Blocking inflammation with ibuprofen can potentially slow down the healing process. leave for sturgis in 2 days, ya get nothin if you dont try. Semper Fi, God is great
I popped in for some Saturday night “tunes” hoping not to see too much Ozzy as I’ve heard that relentlessly during the week however, Alas, ROCK on OZZY !!
Mom is so proud of us that we encouraged Hef to start his own YouTube channel, "Hanging with Hef." We told him we'd make sure he had lots of material and different topics to speak to. Of course, Hef has lots of his own video content, but with his and ours, it's that one-two punch that will put him over the top. He wanted Bob to co-host with him, but we were able to convince him that would be disastrous. We told Hef to start a patron membership, where the first three paying members would receive a 40-ounce bottle of Crown Royal and some nice merch. After that, from four onwards would only receive the merch package. Still a very sweet deal. So now we're going to be encouraging everyone to like the videos, subscribe, share the videos, and join the patron membership. Those who join the patron will also get early access to all the videos and get to join the private chat room.We also helped Hef set up his studio in his garage. We made sure he hit the ground running. We're going to be sitting back watching his channel in style now. Mom said we could have the old firewood room in the basement; she said it could be our little man cave. Fortunately for us, we were able to get IB to renovate the room for us. Water, power, a nice bar, a big-screen TV, a kick-ass sound system, and a bathroom. IB looked after us big time and spared no expense. He drove all the way from Florida to Alabama to do the work; he's top shelf. Mom was concerned when she noticed the bar in our new man cave. We told her we got it free when a neighbor put it out on the street. Furthermore, we assured her the taps didn't work(not). We told her it provided a nice, big surface area for all of us to do our homework, assignments, study for tests and exams, and a quiet place to reflect and read scripture. What we didn't tell her was how IB built in several hidden compartments to hide our weed, hash, alcohol, dirty magazines, and our XXX videos. This was a must do, cause we all know oh to well, that mom likes to go snooping around. She was very upset with us the last time she found our stash...Enough said !!
Another inch of rain the last 24 hrs, the local creeks might be flowing, squally showers, good stuff so far, rain, soak in, rain, repeat. When the sun comes out this spring, theres enough moisture in the soil now for the local plants to go mad, crops are another matter, they need fortnightly rain til September for it to be a bumper year.
Evening all. Left Grand Teton and drove to Vernal UT for Dinosaur National Monument. We went whitewater rafting (class II and III). This was our lunch stop. All the action photos are on the GoPro since I did not want to lose my phone in the river. Heading further into Utah canyons in a couple of days. Hope all is well for everyone.

Not gonna be late tonight, heading to meet lake house friends in Rockford ILLinOiz for some good times and see “Straight no Chaser” at the Hard Rock Casino on Sunday night. We have a nice Virbo for the long weekend
Mom had to work another double at the hospital. So as usual she asked our good neighbor Hef if he wouldn't mind babysitting for the day. Hef of course said yes. Mom was especially grateful to Hef this time around, as there was a severe tornado warning. The weather network showed that our area was directly in its path, and categorized the tornado as an EF5. Hef had no fear, in fact he told us he had a nice surprise for us. He said we were gonna load up in the car and do some storm chasing. Hef said he watched a 10 minute YouTube video on storm chasing and he had this nailed. The plan was that Hef was to do the driving, Bob would ride shotgun, and we would ride in the back and operate the video camera. Piece of cake, what could wrong...

That is interesting that you were involved in the Amy Bradley case. I was aware of the case and watched the Netflix special. When I was reading about the Travis Decker case, where the Army vet killed his daughters, I was thinking that there should be an agency comprised of retired SOF that could hunt him down. I know that retired SOF people can get jobs with the CIA, state dept. or FBI, but it would be good if there was an agency specifically comprised of retired SOF people to tackle odd ball cases such as the Amy Bradley case. It is a waste of resources to just let SOF people retire and not use them for cases such as this. Thank you for all you have done for the country.

Mom had to work another double at the hospital. So as usual she asked our good neighbor Hef if he wouldn't mind babysitting for the day. Hef of course said yes. Mom was especially grateful to Hef this time around, as there was a severe tornado warning. The weather network showed that our area was directly in its path, and categorized the tornado as an EF5. Hef had no fear, in fact he told us he had a nice surprise for us. He said we were gonna load up in the car and do some storm chasing. Hef said he watched a 10 minute YouTube video on storm chasing and he had this nailed. The plan was that Hef was to do the driving, Bob would ride shotgun, and we would ride in the back and operate the video camera. Piece of cake, what could wrong...

Now it’s me, one week into this brutal eight-week sentence with my arm tied down tight after a complete rotator cuff tear—and I’m already crawling out of my skin. The roofers are up there pounding like it’s Judgment Day, shaking the whole damn house, and I have to check their work. So I throw on my Crocs, full of misplaced confidence, and start wandering around outside like a man on a mission. Everything’s going surprisingly smooth... until I miss the step coming back into the house. I catch myself—flapping like a one-winged duck, off balance and wild-eyed—my strapped-down arm screaming in protest. The pain hits hard and fast; I’m seeing dots, almost tasting metal. Big Red looks at me with those wide eyes, like “Oh no…” But I force a half-grin and gasp, “No, no—I’m fine.” HOW IN THE HELL!

That is interesting that you were involved in the Amy Bradley case. I was aware of the case and watched the Netflix special. When I was reading about the Travis Decker case, where the Army vet killed his daughters, I was thinking that there should be an agency comprised of retired SOF that could hunt him down. I know that retired SOF people can get jobs with the CIA, state dept. or FBI, but it would be good if there was an agency specifically comprised of retired SOF people to tackle odd ball cases such as the Amy Bradley case. It is a waste of resources to just let SOF people retire and not use them for cases such as this. Thank you for all you have done for the country.

It was a surprise to me when i learned that Thomas Jefferson died with over 1 million dollars worth of seed debt, in today’s money. Some he inherited from his father in law, the rest was from his farm.
