South Carolina coast, sitting at the bar with margarita in hand, don't you know its always 5 o'clock in margaritaville!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!!

Well, opening day dove season in my area was a bust. The neighbors son and I only shot 5 birds between us. Not allot of action. I think it's just been to warm for the birds to come south. My 3 and the neighbors 2 will go in the freezer and wait for some company. He's 14 now and the shotgun fits a little better this year. Hopefully he'll get a chance to show off his shooting skills a little later in the season. Next week hotter than hell again, I'm ready for some 40 degree weather. Never did like the heat. Funny part about yesterday was our agreement before shooting. He chases my shots and I chase his shots. He complained that he had to walk allot farther to retrieve my kills. His Dad just laughed and exclaimed, " He pulled that shit on me once and I learned to shoot better, now we chase our own." We only stayed about 2 1/2 hours , just got bored waiting. We didn't hear much shooting anywhere else so we went home. It was still a good day hunting, thanks to my retriever.

Having a verry good weekend so far and hope the same for all. This is the last big Summer party. Rock on crew!
