I said this before here on the site, but I took total care of my father in law for over five years. His life was my life. One day suddenly he lost the use of his legs and I moved in with him. Showers, bathroom, feeding, everything. He also had dementia. well, he passed away at 93 on January 15th at home with us around him. Joe and my grandfather were solid men. Always there. Rock solidly dependable. Supportive. Tender but strong. Loving and firm. Credit rating of 800+ They both never complained about anything. Served our country. Just damn good fathers and men. It was a privelege taking care of him these past five years and I will miss him. I've said this many times before here, but he went out of his way to make sure people knew that he served in Korea in 1955 after the fighting. He told me that he didn't want to take credit away from those that fought in the war. I hope to be half the man and father that my father in law was.
