I forgot to mention 4 trucks came through here on the back of trucks, probably from Darwin. Maybe from Woomera, who knows. Devoid of all markings, a light tan color, the tan color the Yanks used in Iraq. No flags no markings, just a stencil on the back in what I call wild west script, like on the Dynamite boxes, all started with W. 6 characters letters and numbers, that was the only ID on them.
Could have been on an exercise, could have been here on trial, they were pretty new and clean but not brand new.
Im tipping US marines. 80%. They were not ours. 8 wheels on the back 2 on the front. Not much to see, deliberately so. Cammo nets stored in boxes under the chassis for ready access. Some variant of M109A3 be my guess. Sadly no pics as I wasnt ready for them. Nice to see all the same,

We usually hunt starting at 3:00 pm. We trim the bottom of a pine or cedar tree up about 7-8 feet and stand underneath which is a great way to hunt with concealment. I would trim up that cedar you showed. It allows shadow that doves can’t see you. Great report! Call about gator!

Forgot how much my plate carrier roasts my core so switched to an LBV and a bigger pack the last couple trips. Spent about 2 hours clearing brush and then lugged all the crap back uphill to the truck. Getting my spot opened up a little bit now. Got the chainsaw out there waiting for the next stage which will be this week if the little heat wave isn't too brutal.

Nothing more fun than a good dove shoot with a bunch of buddies over sunflower field in St Charles County west of St Louis--then later in the season traveling down to Sikeston in the Missouri Bootheel--the dove were like mosquitos. Loved this time of year--Sept 1st-teal in the morning dove in the afternoon. Most of my 40 years duck hunting was over what we called dwarf corn.

Thomas George Rohde2/22/39 Claims to have been a Seal before Seals were Seals. His story is that he was in vietnam doing special ops assassinations and recon. Because HIS team was ''so valuable'' in Vietnam, that his team became THE Navy Seals. This jacket... he got a gift card for Cabella's for Christmas last year, went in and found this. Came home, asked me to put in shoulder pads and sew the patches on, but I refused. He had a lady at the dry cleaner do it. Easily 2 months went by, then he started asking me to take pictures of him in it for his son who has a potato for a brain. Finally I did... next thing I know he's wearing it EVERYWHERE and starts screaming at people trying to intimidate them while half of everyone else laughs, the other half wanted to shove that champagne glass down his throat slowly, then crush it. He then went to his grandson's welcome home party as a I believe E6 as a diver in the Navy as well. He stopped the music, the dancing, the talking and felt like he was holding us all hostage... then he pulled out a set of double dolphins and wanted to present them to him! Like he thinks he won't notice that he's WEARING one as well and be incredibly insulted? That's a MASSIVE honor mark that deserves respect and he shit all over the entire night for his grandson's return. Thousands more like it, but this was a very public situation. We've dug as far as we can into his records, all we see is ''deckhand'' like he bailed out the second be stepped on the plank. He tries to say it's because it was covert assassinations, not writing that down... Too bad he didn't jump head first. It would be my luck that he'd be the one piece of shit to bounce unharmed. Don, I shared your videos with my 90 year old father in law. He served in Korea, but he goes out of his way to tell everyone that he served after the war ,in '55. What a contrast to these phonys that you deal with. He is proud to show me his pictures of him in Korea and his buddies. He tells everyone " I served after the war. I ate chow. Stood guard. And went home when my time was up." After he saw your videos he voiced how appaled he was at how many guys are claiming to be SEALs, and he said it is very disrespectful to anyone who served as a SEAL. A load of small gravel put down next to the water, and your dove hunt willbe great. The fastest and best dove hunt I had was standing next to a gravel pile that was left for winter roads. And the best part was they came back 3 days in a row. Just don't shoot up the roost and your in like flint Later in the season I would water low spots in my driveway and shoot some doves for dinner.. They need the gravel for their crops.

Forgot how much my plate carrier roasts my core so switched to an LBV and a bigger pack the last couple trips. Spent about 2 hours clearing brush and then lugged all the crap back uphill to the truck.
Getting my spot opened up a little bit now. Got the chainsaw out there waiting for the next stage which will be this week if the little heat wave isn't too brutal.

Nothing more fun than a good dove shoot with a bunch of buddies over sunflower field in St Charles County west of St Louis--then later in the season traveling down to Sikeston in the Missouri Bootheel--the dove were like mosquitos. Loved this time of year--Sept 1st-teal in the morning dove in the afternoon. Most of my 40 years duck hunting was over what we called dwarf corn.

Finally I did... next thing I know he's wearing it EVERYWHERE and starts screaming at people trying to intimidate them while half of everyone else laughs, the other half wanted to shove that champagne glass down his throat slowly, then crush it. He then went to his grandson's welcome home party as a I believe E6 as a diver in the Navy as well. He stopped the music, the dancing, the talking and felt like he was holding us all hostage... then he pulled out a set of double dolphins and wanted to present them to him! Like he thinks he won't notice that he's WEARING one as well and be incredibly insulted?
That's a MASSIVE honor mark that deserves respect and he shit all over the entire night for his grandson's return. Thousands more like it, but this was a very public situation.
We've dug as far as we can into his records, all we see is ''deckhand'' like he bailed out the second be stepped on the plank. He tries to say it's because it was covert assassinations, not writing that down... Too bad he didn't jump head first. It would be my luck that he'd be the one piece of shit to bounce unharmed.

Don, I shared your videos with my 90 year old father in law. He served in Korea, but he goes out of his way to tell everyone that he served after the war ,in '55. What a contrast to these phonys that you deal with. He is proud to show me his pictures of him in Korea and his buddies. He tells everyone " I served after the war. I ate chow. Stood guard. And went home when my time was up." After he saw your videos he voiced how appaled he was at how many guys are claiming to be SEALs, and he said it is very disrespectful to anyone who served as a SEAL. I just wanted to share this with you.

A load of small gravel put down next to the water, and your dove hunt willbe great. The fastest and best dove hunt I had was standing next to a gravel pile that was left for winter roads. And the best part was they came back 3 days in a row. Just don't shoot up the roost and your in like flint Later in the season I would water low spots in my driveway and shoot some doves for dinner.. They need the gravel for their crops.
