Humbug! Outside putting up illuminating devices all over the homestead! I had everything in totes and usually do it myself but Tina and the gang took the misplaced initiative to do most without me. I was sleeping trying to beat an upper respiratory virus before another roadtrip for work Monday. Things are dicked up..... Im leaving it......ok enough I do have to finish the classy side of the house. Enjoy your time 👍🙏🇺🇲

Embarking on our second venture to capture the enchanting beauty of Hemlock Falls, the hike was a breeze, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. The drive felt quicker this time, our excitement propelling us forward. Racing against the climbing sun, we aimed to reach the falls before its harsh light spoiled our photographic endeavors. Things were unfolding perfectly.
As we trekked up the trail, our senses were heightened by the presence of wild turkeys spotted by my companion, Big Red. Attempting to focus my lens on the skittish birds proved futile, but the thrill of the unexpected encounter added to our adventure. We reveled in being the trailblazers, crossing a newly installed wooden bridge that spanned the tricky, slippery rocks near the creek.
Arriving at the falls just in the nick of time, we wasted no seconds, setting up our gear at a feverish pace. Big Red, however, began babbling about a mysterious swirl. Initially dismissing it as the product of an overactive imagination, I soon discovered she wasn't crazy. At f22, with the camera lens held open for an extended period, we witnessed a mesmerizing whirlpool forming in the pond, a phenomenon only visible during this season adorned with fallen leaves.
The sun threatened to spoil our newfound discovery, prompting us to hastily readjust our tripod position. A clearing behind the falls beckoned us, but the relentless sun mirrored a scene from the classic Gregory Peck movie "Mackenna's Gold," charging into our shot. Time slipped away, and we lost the perfect moment, yet we still captured an extraordinary image of this unexpected marvel. Hemlock Falls is always surprising and eternally captivating.

Australian naval divers have been injured after an 'unsafe and unprofessional' run-in with a Chinese warship.
The HMAS Toowoomba was in international waters in Japan's exclusive economic zone, having worked to enforce United Nations sanctions, and was on its way to a scheduled port visit when fishing nets became entangled around its propellers.
While the diving operation took place, the Chinese PLA-N destroyer DDG-139 came towards the Toowoomba, prompting its crew to reiterate a dive was underway and ask for the warship to stay clear.
The Chinese vessel acknowledged the message but came even closer, and was soon after detected operating its hull-mounted sonar, posing a risk to the Australian divers' safety, Mr Marles said.
The divers, who were assessed after they surfaced, sustained minor injuries likely because they were subjected to the sonar pulses.

Have you guys ever heard the story of the newly married couple that went on their Honeymoon to Jamaica? While there, they left their hotel room to head for the beach, spent a few hours there, then went back to their room and discovered someone had broken in and took everything of value, including their camera, but left the roll of film. After their week was up they headed home and we’re curious about the film so they of course had it developed, and after searching thru the pictures, they found one of 2 Jamaican men, bent over with the husband and wife’s toothbrushes stuck in their asses, bristles first, smiling and waving back at them.

Was just watching Patriot Awards from last night.. 99 year old Vet Andy Negra .. only a small snippet of his life they showed and from Normandy .. man I hope I can only be 1/2 as spry as that man .. 99 man.. last of his outfit to still survive today. If 1/4 of what he went thru is ever told....Folks like them gives Patriot a pretty definition. Just his outlook on life and this country is pretty inspiring.

Electric sliding gate with intercom is my guess. can get a solar back up too. Then get one of those bins the charity shops use for deliveries. Make sure to put gate far enough back to allow vehicles to get off the road when the gates closed. Might need a mirror so they can back out safely when the gates closed if they cant turn around.

Police shot and killed in a tiny country town. Why they were at the house at 1130pm we dont know yet. Last time a Police Officer was shit and killed here was 1985.
About 11.20pm on Thursday 16 November, police attended a property on Senior Road near the Victorian border to investigate an earlier incident.
Attending police were confronted by an armed suspect and a shooting incident has occurred.
One of the responding police officers sustained fatal gunshot wounds and despite the efforts of his colleagues and paramedics sadly died at the scene.
A second police officer received non-life threatening gunshot wounds and has been transported to Adelaide for treatment.
A third police officer at the scene was not physically injured and rendered assistance.
The alleged suspect was also shot by police and sustained serious life threatening injuries. He was treated at the scene and has since been flown to Adelaide where he remains under police guard.

Police shot and killed in a tiny country town. Why they were at the house at 1130pm we dont know yet. Last time a Police Officer was shit and killed here was 1985.
About 11.20pm on Thursday 16 November, police attended a property on Senior Road near the Victorian border to investigate an earlier incident.
Attending police were confronted by an armed suspect and a shooting incident has occurred.
One of the responding police officers sustained fatal gunshot wounds and despite the efforts of his colleagues and paramedics sadly died at the scene.
A second police officer received non-life threatening gunshot wounds and has been transported to Adelaide for treatment.
A third police officer at the scene was not physically injured and rendered assistance.
The alleged suspect was also shot by police and sustained serious life threatening injuries. He was treated at the scene and has since been flown to Adelaide where he remains under police guard.

Love having a good computer but absolutely hate it when something goes wrong and one has to reset everything and reconfigure and learn new systems. Make sure you write down ALL PASSWORDS and important information and put it in a secure location!😁
