She calls the ambulance, says she gunna hurt herself, they come with the coppers, take her to hospital, gets sedated, taken home, rinse and repeat.

Costs the taxpayer 4 grand a time, what a joke.

I have a "name" story. Back in 78, I had just completed SAR school and reported to my Fleet Replacement Squadron for my replacement aircrewmen course. I was early and had to wait for my class to start, so they put me on the quarter deck and tasked me with greeting visitors and answering the phone.
I hadn't been in the Navy for a year yet, a lowly Airman Apprentice (E2). How hard could it be?
I received a call. Guy was looking for Petty Officer Hefflefinger. I thought I was being punked as I'd received a few of these calls looking for this guy. Basically told the guy to "F" off.
The next day, I met Petty Officer Hefflefinger...

Don if your trolling motor is a Minnkota ulterra quest. Just make sure you fully stow the motor when you move around. Never just trim it up. You could break the lift belt and then youll be hating life. Hope all is well and everyone take care.
